Obiectives:
To gain:
› background theoretical and practical knowledge in various branches of chemistry and in a selection of fields at the border between chemistry and other disciplines;
› knowledge on analysis methods / skills to use modern analysis equipment;
› ability for the statistical interpretation of experimental data.
The involvement of students in the activities that our department organizes (scientific sessions dedicated to students, attendance in professional contests in food industry – related topics, etc.) will allow them:
› to get familiar with team work, to plan their own activities in a coherent way;
› to hone skills required to address a public audience, to substantiate their opinions, to develop a field – specific vocabulary;
› to develop empathy; to develop problem solving and decision making abilities;
› to set clear and measurable goals and ability to select adequate implementation ways to reach them.
Professional options after graduation:
› enrollment in the pre-university education system as teaching staff (college level);
› enrollment as employees in laboratories for chemical analises (pollution control of the environment, human or veterinary medicine, food quality control).
Only the graduation of both the classes in the Didactic Training Department and of the Master Studies will allow graduates to further apply to become teaching staff at high –school, university level, the enrollment in doctoral studies or in scentific research.
