Author Guidelines
It is mandatory for authors to follow the instructions below. Manuscripts that are not prepared accordingly will not be processedIn the event that the authors are aware of any competing financial interests or personal relationships that could have influenced the work reported in this paper, they need to send a letter explaining all potential conflict of interests to the Editor-in-Chief. After careful consideration of the case, the Editorial Board will make a decision on whether to admit the manuscript.The Authors welcome the submission of original articles relevant to the science and technology in
the field of food. Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published
previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis),
that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all
authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and
that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other
language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright-holder. Editors are
not responsible for any plagiarism. Authors are responsible for obtaining from the copyright
holder permission to reproduce any figures for which copyright exists. The publisher does not give
any warranty express or implied or make any representation that the contents will be complete or
accurate or up to date. The publisher shall not be liable for any loss, actions, claims, proceedings,
demand or costs or damages whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly in
connection with or arising out of the use of this material.
Manuscript preparation
Authors need to upload on the platform next documents.
1. Cover Leter (pdf) signed by the authors.
2. Submission file 1 - Title page (doc/docx).
3. Submission file 2 - Anonymus manuscript in pdf and doc/docx editable, tables and figures at the end of the mannuscript (if applicable).
4. Title page anonymized without authors, email addresses, affiliation addresses, etc.
5. Graphical abstract (if aplicable) and Figures should be uploaded also in separate files as BMP, JPG, TIFF; (minimum 300 dpi).

The Cover Letter need to be saved in pdf format and will mandatory content: Statement regarding manuscript originality; Agreeemnt regarding antiplagiarism rules; Statement regarding AI in generate manuscript text; Statement regarding anonymization File 2 - Anonymous manuscript - for both files format , signed by coresponding author/authors of the manuscript.

The Title Page/ Submission file 1/ need to be saved as Microsoft Word; RTF or Open Office document and upload on the manuscript management platform. Title page will contain:
- Title of the manuscript;
- Full names of the authors(FAMILY NAME capitalize and Surname normal);
- Abstract maximum 200 words;
- Name, affilation, ORCID, email address of the coresponding author;
- Maximum 5 keywords;
- Graphical abstract if any.

Anonymous Manuscript should be in separate files, the same document in PDF for the review process and Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, RTF editable document for editors.

Anonymus manuscript will included next sections:
Introduction
The Introduction section should provide a concise overview of recent literature (references) relevant to the subject matter of the manuscript. It should clearly articulate the research hypothesis and highlight the novelty of the findings presented. Additionally, the objectives or aims of the study should be clearly defined and presented in this section.
Materials and methods
Materials and Methods section should detail study materials and methods. Authors should only describe their modifications, not existing protocols.
Results and Discussion
The Results and Discusion will described the main experimental results. Presenting the statistical analysis data is crucial!!!The presented results should be further discussed in light of the current state of scientific knowledge. It is crucial to enrich the available scientific information, rather than simply repeating it. Data presented in tables should not to repeat in figures and vice-versa.
Conclusions
The Conclusions section should summarize the main findings of the study and present the authors’ perspective on the future prospects of the issues they address in the manuscript.
The concluding section should determine whether the null hypothesis of the experiment has been supported or refuted.
In this section, the authors should draw conclusions about the new fundamental knowledge and facts gained from the research, and, if applicable, discuss the practical implications of the results.
References
Citation in to the manuscript text should respect the APA system (Author, year) for one author; (Author and Author, year) for 2 authors; (Author et al., year) for more than 2 authors.

Tables
Tables should have the appropriate captions at the top and be numbered with Arabic numerals in the order of their appearance in the text. The tables should be inserted in their relevant places in the text. Please suggest in to the text the table exact position.
Figures
Figures should be inserted into their appropriate positions in the text and numbered using Arabic numerals, following the order of their appearance. Each figure must have a separate caption and legend.Please suggest in to the text the figure exact position.
Mathematical and chemical formulation
Mathematical and chemical formulation need to numbered separately and written directly in the text when they belong. Numbering will respect the format (1) exactly next line after formula, on the left position.
SI Units
(International System of Units) should be used. Imperial, US customary and other units should be converted to SI units whenever possible
Acronyms/Abbreviations/Initialisms
Acronyms/Abbreviations/Initialisms should be defined the first time they appear in each of three sections: the abstract; the main text; the first figure or table. When defined for the first time, the acronym/abbreviation/initialism should be added in parentheses after the written-out form.
Manuscript withdraw
If the review process has started, withdrawal of the manuscript by the authors can only be done for very serious reasons. Out of respect for the reviewers and in order to have as rigorous a review process as possible, it is not acceptable to withdraw a manuscript earlier than two months after it has been submitted for review. Any withdrawal of a manuscript will be made by a request including a valid reason for withdrawal signed by all authors of the manuscript.
Plagiarism
All manuscripts will be checked twice for similarity with existing publications and for plagiarism using the Turnitin plagiarism detecting system: initially, during the Preliminary Assessment procedure of the manuscript, and then, during the Proofreading, immediately before the Production step leading to publication of the article.
Plagiarized manuscripts will not be considered for publication. If a signal is given that there is a plagiarism element in an already published article, the editors will immediately send a letter to all authors, to their related institutions and funding agencies, and the paper will subsequently be retracted.Editors have the final decision power for these cases.
Publication Ethics
Carpathian Journal of Food Science and Technology not publish papers that included experiments on human subjects. All the papers received in this topic will be rejected before review process
For non-interventional studies, such as surveys, questionnaires, and social media research, all participants must be fully informed about their anonymity, the purpose of the research, how their data will be used, and any potential risks involved in participating.
As with all research involving humans, ethical approval from an appropriate ethics committee is mandatory before conducting the study. If ethical approval is not required, authors must either provide an exemption from the ethics committee or cite local or national legislation that exempts this type of study from such approval. When an exemption is granted, the name of the ethics committee that provided it must be clearly stated in the ‘Institutional Review Board Statement’ section, accompanied by a comprehensive explanation for the rejection of ethical approval.

Publication process in Carpathian Journal of Food Science and Technology is free. Journal not charge the authors for paper published.
